Artist Bursary
The Dr. Charles Allard Win-a-Literary Artist Bursary Program (Allard Bursaries) is made possible by support from the Allard Foundation. It is an annual contest for schools and public libraries throughout Alberta to be awarded a YABS annual membership and a $500 discount towards an in-person or virtual booking by any of our available artists.
A panel of judges selects the 15 winners.
This is a juried competition, not a random draw – your answer to the question is important!
August 2023 update: The Allard Foundation has generously increased our funding for 2023 to give us an allotment of 15 bursary spots! The closing date for applications was September 15, 2023.
