We are pleased to announce Wordshop, a new program that can bring the magic of stories and books to your students!

Wordshop will offer 14 Edmonton schools, libraries or youth service groups a day of writing or illustrating workshops with two Albertan professional literary artists (working separately) between September 1 and December 21, 2026. Thanks to support from the Edmonton Arts Council’s Connections and Exchanges grant, this program is offered at no cost to the hosting group.

Interested hosts apply via short google form by June 18. Winners will be notified by email or phone by June 24. Detailed arrangements can be made immediately or upon resumption of school operational days in the fall.
