A former teacher, Lois Donovan is the author of two Young Adult, time-travel historical novels. In addition to reading and writing, Lois enjoys sharing her passion for Canada’s stories, and her love of writing at schools, conferences and conventions.
A former elementary and junior-high teacher, Karen is the author of eight middle-grade and young adult novels. Her books feature relatable kids and teens working through contemporary problems and are often set in Edmonton, where Karen has lived for many years.
St. Paul-based Diane Mae Robinson is an international multi-award-winning children/teen author, artist, art teacher, part-time editor and, formally, a writing instructor at the Creative Writing Institute and international short story judge. She is currently a non-touring member and not available for bookings through YABS.
Gerry Rasmussen is an internationally syndicated cartoonist who has been drawing the comic strip Betty since 1991. He is also the illustrator of a series of picture books about sports. Gerry is offering both in-person and online sessions and he is open to travel.
