Shea Proulx is a Calgary author illustrator who creates picture-books that bridge generations, where visual narratives steal the show. Shea is offering both in-person and online sessions for 2022-23. She is open to travel but may have limited availability due to prior commitments.
Constance Brissenden is an experienced presenter, writer, editor, and historian. She is co-author of nine award-winning books by Cree author Larry Loyie (1933-2016). Constance plans to be available for both in-person and virtual sessions in Fall 2022 and she is open to requests that require travel from Edmonton.

Her enthusiasm for everything literary is infectious, and will have your students digging deep to explore their own experience, emotions and writing talent. With his father in the RCMP, Robert had the opportunity to live in and visit all of Canada's provinces and territories. He was struck by how little most Canadians actually know about the northern territories of their own country. His first novel, Napachee, was inspired by the desire to teach young people more about the north in an entertaining but realistic fashion. Rob is offering both in-person and virtual sessions for the 2022-23 school year and is open to travel.
A journalist, book reviewer, author, and humorist, Debby Waldman calls herself a jack-of-all trades writer. Debby plans to offer online sessions for Fall 2022 and will update in early September on the availability of in-person sessions.
A former teacher, Lois Donovan is the author of two Young Adult, time-travel historical novels. In addition to reading and writing, Lois enjoys sharing her passion for Canada’s stories, and her love of writing at schools, conferences and conventions. Lois is currently a non-touring member and will not be available for Taleblazers bookings in Fall 2022.
Ben Sures is an Edmonton-based singer, songwriter, and author. He is offering in-person sessions for Fall 2022.
A former elementary and junior-high teacher, Karen is the author of eight middle-grade and young adult novels. Her books feature relatable kids and teens working through contemporary problems and are often set in Edmonton, where Karen has lived for many years. Edmonton-based author Joe Simons is retired from a satisfying career in special ed programs with ECSD. He is currently working on the the sequel to Under A Living Sky which he looks forward to sharing someday! Joseph is offering both in-person and online sessions for 2022-23 and he is open to travel.
